Bachelor of Business Management - Applied (BBM-A)
Bachelor of Business Management-Applied (BBM-Applied) programme is 4-year undergraduate degree in Business Management. The Campus is willing to run the BBM-Applied from academic year 2020 as an autonomous program. The course structure is designed to provide students with world-class education in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Human Resource and other functional business areas. Keeping this matter into consideration, an effort will be made to create awareness among students with respect to culture, environment and challenges of business organization through classroom lectures, assignment, project and presentations, case studies, industrial visits, special workshops, seminars etc. BBM-Applied graduates are expected to develop the following skills after completing the undergraduate degree (BBM-Applied).

The mission of LBC's autonomous Bachelor of Business Management (BBM-Applied) Program is to produce middle-level qualified and skilled management professionals to fulfill the middle level managerial positions in the rapidly growing business sectors in national and regional levels.
Develop students’ managerial skills for the effective operations of business.
Develop students’ understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation, and effective management of business operations in a dynamic business environment.
Prepare students for professional life to work as business manager and entrepreneur.
Prepare students to identify the need of the society & help the society to fulfill the social needs
The BBM-Applied program requires the students to study a total of 120 credit hours. The curricular structure of the program comprises of the following four separate course components.

The candidate applying for admission to the BBM-Applied program must have:
- successfully completed a twelve-year schooling or its equivalent from any board or institution recognized by Government of Nepal.
- passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institute with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program and
- complied with all the application procedures.
Eligible applicants are required to appear in the entrance test known as LBC Management Admission Test (LBC-MAT). The test will follow the international testing pattern and standards based on a two-stage screening process that includes written test, and personal interview.
It includes the areas like:
- Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Ability
- Logical Reasoning
- General Awareness
There shall be altogether one hundred (100) objective questions in the LBC-MAT containing twenty (25) questions in each section with a total weightage of 100 marks. Students must secure a minimum of 40% in the LB-CMAT in order to qualify for the interview.
Applicants securing above cut off point marks in the LBC-MAT will be short-listed. Only short listed candidates will be interviewed and selected for admission.
The final evaluation of students is done through the examination conducted by office of the BOARD OF EXAMINATION (Parikshya Sanchalak Samiti). Students must secure a minimum of grade ‘B’ or Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 in the internal evaluation in order to qualify to appear in the semester-end examination. In order to pass the semester examination the student must secure a minimum of grade ‘B-’ or 2.7 (50%) in individual paper. The grading system shall be as follows:

In case of failure in one or more subjects at the end of semester examinations, students can appear in make-up examination in the subsequent semester. A student can appear only on two courses (6 credit hours) in the make-up examination. If the student fails in the make-up examination, he / she shall have to re-register and repeat the course as per the course cycle. At the end of the 8th semester, if student fails in two subjects make up examination will be held within a month of 8th semester result publication. if student fails in more than two subjects in any semester end examination, then s/he shall have to re-register in the same semester. The examination of the re-registered courses shall be held as per the course cycle.
Students are required to attend regularly all theoretical and practical classes, assignments, study tour, field trip, seminars and presentations as required by the course. A student is required to attend at least 80 percent of such activities in order to qualify for the semester-end examination.
The program allows students to transfer the credits earned by them in similar program of other universities recognized by Tribhuvan University. A student who has partially completed the BBM-Applied program and would like to discontinue his / her studies shall also be allowed to withdraw from the program. In such cases, a certificate specifying the credit earned by the student in the program shall be provided.
