Master of Business Studies in Finance (MBS-F) program is 2 years Post Graduate Degree. Campus is willing to run the MBS-F from academic year 2019 as an autonomous program. The course structure is designed to provide students with essential knowledge in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Human Resource Management and other functional business areas. In this regard, an effort will be made to create awareness among students with respect to culture, environment and challenges of business organization through classroom lectures, assignment, project & presentations, case studies, industrial visits, special workshops, seminars etc. MBS-F graduates are expected to develop the following skills after completing the (MBS-F) Degree:

Students will be confident to hold and execute middle level and higher level managerial positions in any organization.
They will acquire ample knowledge and skill to solve practical business problems creatively.
Students develop themselves into management education with a blend of Information Technology.
Prepare students to proceed with new venture in the society.
The general teaching pedagogy includes class lectures, group discussions, case studies, guest lectures, student presentation, role play, research work, project work (individual and group), assignments (theoretical and practical), and term papers. The teaching faculty will determine the choice of teaching pedagogy as per the need of the course. The concerned faculty shall develop a detailed course outline and work plan before beginning of each semester and also recommends the basic text and other reference materials for effective teaching-learning of the course modules.
To receive MBS-F degree the student must have:
The successful completion of 60 credit hours as prescribed with a minimum of passing grade in all courses with CGPA of 2.7.
A ‘B’ minus or better grade in each of the courses as specified in the curricular structure section;
Obtained an overall CGPA of 3.0 or better after combining the GPAs obtained in all courses and dissertation.
Completed all the course requirements as specified in the curricular structure section within the prescribed time period specified in the normal and maximum duration of the study section.
Students are required to attend regularly all theory and practical classes, assignments, study tour, field trip, seminars and presentations as required by the course. A student is required to attend at least 80 percent of such activities in order to qualify for the semester examination.
The program allows students to transfer the credits earned by them in similar program of other universities as recognized by TU.
Students willing to transfer credit from accredited university/college or recognize by TU have to apply at the Faculty of Management (FOM) paying a sum of amount for each credit to be transferred.
Concerned faculty or institute will review all previous university/college level grade sheet to determine what credits may be eligible to transfer.
The FOM will review every course taken by a student to another university/college.
The student should complete the first semester duration in the master program to be eligible for credit transfer.
A student who has partially completed the MBS-F program and would like to discontinue his / her studies shall also be allowed to withdraw from the program. In such cases, a certificate specifying the credit earned by the student in the program shall be provided.
